BSH Launches India’s First Perfect-Fit Four-Door Side-by-Side Refrigerators
Bosch and Siemens expand BSH’s premium cooling portfolio with new four-door refrigerators designed for modern Indian kitchens.
BSH Home Appliances has announced the launch of its new Bosch and Siemens Four Door Side-by-Side Refrigerators in India, marking the company’s entry into the rapidly growing premium side-by-side refrigeration segment. The company claims the new range is the first in India to offer a “Perfect-Fit” design, engineered to sit flush with kitchen countertops and cabinetry while maintaining the flexibility of freestanding installation.
Designed specifically for modern urban households, the new refrigerators combine the aesthetics and storage capacity of a traditional side-by-side refrigerator with the practicality of a bottom-freezer layout. BSH says the appliances have been developed around evolving Indian food storage habits, with a focus on preserving freshness, improving accessibility, and maximizing space efficiency within modular kitchens.
A key highlight of the new range is its Counter-Depth Perfect Fit design, featuring a depth of 594mm, allowing the appliance to align seamlessly with standard kitchen cabinetry. Other notable features include Near Zero Gap installation, 115-degree anti-collision hinges, a Flex Convertible Zone that can switch between cooling and soft-freezing modes, and a 503-litre storage capacity. The refrigerators also feature four dedicated freezer compartments, quick-access freezer trays, and an advanced hygiene and odour management system designed to minimize flavour transfer between stored foods.
BSH is positioning the two brands differently within the segment. Bosch’s offering focuses on storage convenience and everyday usability tailored to Indian households, while Siemens emphasizes kitchen integration through its semi-integrated Slot-In design aimed at premium modular kitchen setups. According to the company, both product lines address the growing demand for appliances that blend premium design with practical functionality.
Commenting on the launch, Saif Khan, Managing Director and CEO of BSH Home Appliances India, said that food preservation is becoming increasingly important for Indian consumers as shopping patterns evolve and households seek smarter ways to reduce food waste. He added that BSH aims to shape the future of premium refrigeration in India through innovation and design, with 2026 designated as the company’s “Year of Refrigeration.” The launch also forms part of BSH’s broader strategy to strengthen its cooling portfolio and significantly expand its refrigeration business in the country.
The new Bosch and Siemens Four Door Side-by-Side Refrigerators will be available through Bosch and Siemens flagship stores across India. Pricing and availability details have not yet been announced.
