Tizona Tech Desk / July 21, 2026

CP PLUS has launched its CarKam 4G dashcam series in India, featuring GPS tracking, remote vehicle monitoring, Full HD recording, and support for up to 1TB storage.

CP PLUS has expanded its automotive portfolio with the launch of the CarKam 4G series, introducing two connected dashcams aimed at drivers looking for more than just video recording. The new lineup includes the CP-H27 and CP-H27B, both equipped with 4G connectivity, GPS tracking, and remote monitoring capabilities through the company’s ezyLiv+ mobile application. Unlike traditional dashcams that primarily record incidents, the CarKam 4G series is designed to function as a connected vehicle security system. Users can remotely access live footage, monitor their vehicle’s location, and receive alerts directly on their smartphones. Both models support 4G/5G SIM connectivity and feature Full HD recording, HDR support, H.265 video compression, and compatibility with microSD cards of up to 1TB.

The entry-level CP-H27 comes with a 2MP Full HD front-facing camera and includes features such as built-in GPS, two-way communication, motion detection, collision detection, a G-Sensor, and support for parking and time-lapse recording when paired with a Type-C hardwire kit.

For users seeking broader coverage, the CP-H27B adds a second 2MP Full HD rear camera, enabling simultaneous front and rear recording. The dual-channel setup is designed to provide additional visibility while retaining the connected features available across the CarKam range. Commenting on the launch, Aditya Khemka, Managing Director of CP PLUS, said the CarKam 4G series brings the company’s expertise in connected surveillance into the mobility segment, combining remote access, GPS tracking, journey documentation, and intelligent vehicle security.

The introduction of connected dashcams comes at a time when demand for in-car safety and telematics solutions is growing in India. Features such as remote vehicle visibility, parking monitoring, and collision detection are increasingly becoming differentiators in the premium dashcam segment, particularly among urban drivers and fleet operators. The CarKam series positions CP PLUS to compete in this evolving category by leveraging its established presence in surveillance and security technologies. The CP-H27 is priced at ₹7,599, while the dual-camera CP-H27B is available for ₹11,699. Both models are now available for purchase through CP PLUS’ sales channels.
