GIGABYTE Unveils X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, Claims Up to 34% Higher Gaming Performance
GIGABYTE X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 Announced: Up to 34% More FPS for AMD Ryzen X3D Processors
GIGABYTE has announced X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, a new BIOS-level performance optimization feature designed for AMD Ryzen X3D processors. The company says the feature can deliver significant gaming and productivity gains without requiring manual overclocking or advanced tuning.
According to GIGABYTE, X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 leverages a combination of its Dynamic OC Engine, onboard hardware controls, and optimized power delivery systems to dynamically adjust processor behavior based on workload demands. Unlike traditional overclocking methods, the company says the technology focuses on platform-level optimization to improve performance while maintaining system stability.
In internal benchmarks shared by the company, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 recorded performance gains of up to 34%, while Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield 6 saw improvements of up to 25% and 21%, respectively. GIGABYTE also reported a 13.8% increase in Cinebench R24 multi-threaded scores, highlighting productivity benefits beyond gaming workloads.
The feature is available on GIGABYTE’s X3D Series motherboards and supports AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 Series X3D processors. With X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, GIGABYTE is positioning motherboard-level intelligence as a key differentiator in extracting additional performance from AMD’s 3D V-Cache-equipped processors.
