Haier Celebrates One Year of Lumiere 4-Door Refrigerators in India, Surpasses 50,000 Customers
Haier Appliances India has celebrated the first anniversary of its Lumiere 4-Door Side-by-Side refrigerator series, crossing 50,000 installations nationwide while introducing new anniversary edition colours and a limited-period 5-year comprehensive warranty.

Haier Appliances India has marked the first anniversary of its Lumiere 4-Door Side-by-Side refrigerator series in the country, celebrating a milestone of over 50,000 installations across Indian households. To commemorate the occasion, the company has introduced special anniversary edition colour variants, including Rosette White, Pearl White and Mauve Pink, aimed at consumers seeking premium aesthetics for modern homes.
Launched in 2025, the Lumiere range has emerged as one of Haier’s key offerings in the premium refrigeration segment, combining intelligent storage solutions, advanced cooling technologies and contemporary design. The company says the strong response reflects growing demand among Indian consumers for multi-door refrigerators that offer greater flexibility and premium features.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, Haier is also offering a limited-period 5-year comprehensive warranty on its 3-door and 4-door side-by-side refrigerator models.
The Lumiere series introduced several first-in-India innovations, including what Haier claims is the country’s largest LED backlit refrigerator panel, a colourful digital panel with motion sensor technology on select models, and an advanced convertible storage system that allows users to optimise compartment usage based on their needs.
Speaking on the milestone, NS Satish, President and CEO of Haier Appliances India, said the Lumiere range was developed to address evolving consumer lifestyles by combining intelligent storage, smart technologies and premium design. He added that the achievement of over 50,000 customers validates the increasing adoption of flexible, multi-door refrigeration solutions in India.
The Lumiere lineup currently includes multiple models catering to different household requirements and kitchen aesthetics. Available finishes include Mirror Glass, Black Glass, Steel and Colourful Steel variants. The series also offers Wi-Fi-enabled smart models that support remote monitoring and control through smartphones, alongside non-connected variants for consumers who prefer a traditional experience.
Key features across the range include convertible storage zones, smart connectivity options and food management technologies designed to improve freshness and storage efficiency. According to Haier, these features have helped position the Lumiere series as a strong contender in India’s growing premium appliance market.
The company says it remains committed to its “Made in India, Made for India” philosophy and plans to continue expanding its portfolio of locally manufactured appliances tailored to the needs of Indian consumers.
