Škoda Peaq Electric SUV Unveiled: 7-Seater Flagship EV Promises 600km Range and Premium Family Comfort
Škoda has unveiled the Peaq, its largest and most advanced electric SUV to date. The seven-seater flagship EV promises over 600km of driving range, premium technology, and family-focused practicality, marking a major step in the brand’s electrification journey.
Škoda has offered the first detailed look at the Peaq, an all-electric SUV that is set to become the largest and most technologically advanced vehicle in the company’s history. More than just another addition to the growing EV market, the Peaq represents Škoda’s ambition to move further upmarket while staying true to the practicality that has long defined the brand.
The seven-seat SUV is designed for families who need space without compromising on modern technology or electric driving range. Measuring close to five metres in length, the Peaq is considerably larger than the Enyaq and is expected to serve as the electric counterpart to the popular Kodiaq.
Visually, the SUV marks the next chapter in Škoda’s design journey. Drawing inspiration from the Vision 7S concept, the Peaq features a cleaner and more sculpted look, highlighted by the brand’s illuminated Tech-Deck Face, slim LED lighting elements and a more commanding stance on the road. It is a design language that signals where future Škoda EVs are headed.
Inside, the focus is unmistakably on comfort and practicality. The cabin has been designed to maximise space for all seven occupants, with a minimalist dashboard layout centred around a large touchscreen. Škoda says the interior combines premium materials with thoughtful storage solutions and family-friendly features that have become a hallmark of the brand over the years.
Under the skin, the Peaq is built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB electric platform and will be offered with multiple battery and powertrain options. Škoda claims the SUV will be capable of travelling more than 600 kilometres on a single charge, putting it among the longest-range electric SUVs in its segment. Fast-charging support is also expected to make long-distance travel more convenient for owners.
For Škoda, the Peaq is more than a flagship product. It is a statement of intent. The company has built its reputation on delivering practical vehicles with strong value, but the Peaq shows it is now ready to compete in a more premium space where buyers increasingly expect advanced technology, longer range and greater refinement.
As demand for large family-focused EVs continues to grow globally, the Peaq arrives at a crucial moment for the brand. It combines the qualities that have traditionally attracted buyers to Škoda—space, usability and comfort—with the technology and sustainability expected from a modern electric vehicle.
With its official debut now complete, the Peaq is shaping up to be one of the most significant launches in Škoda’s recent history and could play a key role in defining the brand’s electric future.
