Swiggy has launched Guru, a 24x7 AI business assistant for restaurant partners. Available through the restaurant partner app, Guru can analyse sales and order performance, manage ad campaigns and discounts, provide payout and tax insights, and offer menu recommendations. It supports 20+ vernacular languages and is rolling out across 720+ cities, covering more than 2.7 lakh restaurants.

Swiggy has announced the rollout of Guru, a new 24x7 AI-powered business assistant designed to help restaurant partners manage their operations, analyse performance and make data-driven decisions.

Available through Swiggy’s restaurant partner app, Guru brings several business management tools into a single conversational interface. Swiggy says the AI assistant is rolling out across 720+ cities and will be available to more than 2.7 lakh restaurant partners.

One of Guru’s key features is its ability to analyse restaurant performance across the sales funnel. It can evaluate metrics including sales, orders and average order value (AOV), along with more than 30 other metrics, and provide recommendations on areas that may need improvement.

Restaurant owners can also use Guru to start, review and modify advertising campaigns and discounts through simple chat prompts. The assistant can provide insights into campaign performance and help partners make changes without navigating through multiple sections of the app.

Guru also offers detailed payout-related information, including payout summaries and tax reports, allowing restaurant partners to access financial information through the same conversational interface.

The AI assistant extends to menu management as well. According to Swiggy, partners can use Guru to add menu items, generate item descriptions and identify top-selling products based on category-level performance.

Swiggy says Guru supports more than 20 vernacular languages, including Hindi, Kannada and Telugu, making the tool accessible to a wider range of restaurant operators across India.

“Integrating AI into their everyday workflows is a natural next step in our journey together,” said Rohit Kapoor, CEO, Swiggy Food Marketplace. He added that Guru is designed to provide 24x7 support, faster query resolution and actionable performance insights to help restaurant partners grow their businesses.

Swiggy says the launch is part of its broader effort to give restaurant partners access to real-time insights and technology tools that can simplify day-to-day operations and improve profitability.
