Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 17T in India with Leica-powered cameras, a 5x periscope telephoto lens, a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, and a 6,500mAh battery. Prices start at ₹59,999, with sales beginning June 10.
New Delhi, June 4, 2026: Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17T in India, bringing flagship-grade photography, AI-powered features, a high-brightness AMOLED display, and a large 6,500mAh battery to its popular T-series lineup.
Co-engineered with Leica, the Xiaomi 17T aims to deliver a premium smartphone experience focused on photography, entertainment, and all-day performance.
Leica-Powered Imaging Takes Center Stage
The Xiaomi 17T features a Leica-powered triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor. For the first time in the Xiaomi T Series, the smartphone also includes a Leica 5x periscope telephoto camera, enabling long-range photography while retaining image quality.
Xiaomi is also introducing Leica Live Moment, a new imaging feature designed to capture the moments leading up to a shot, preserving movement and emotion rather than relying on a single frame. Additionally, Leica Live Portrait brings enhanced depth and cinematic effects for portrait photography.
Bright AMOLED Display with Eye-Care Features
On the front, the Xiaomi 17T sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is designed to offer excellent outdoor visibility while ensuring smooth scrolling and gaming performance.
The smartphone also introduces Xiaomi Vision Care, an intelligent eye-care system that adapts to ambient conditions and helps reduce eye strain. The device has received TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care Certification along with multiple eye-comfort certifications.
6,500mAh Battery and AI-Powered Experience
Powering the Xiaomi 17T is a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery paired with 67W HyperCharge support. Xiaomi says the combination of higher battery capacity and improved efficiency is designed to comfortably last through a full day of work, entertainment, and content creation.
The device runs Xiaomi HyperOS and includes several AI-powered features, including Xiaomi HyperAI, Google Gemini, and Circle to Search with Google.
Premium Design and Colour Options
Xiaomi says the 17T has been designed with a slim and lightweight profile featuring micro-curved edges and a refined camera module. The smartphone will be available in Violet, Blue, and Black colour options.
